STARTING SALARY £25-26K + Commission + Car Allowance

 

We are a well-established signage, large format, events, and exhibitions company based in the South East. We provide to some most prestigious brands in the market with a range of vinyl graphics, window graphics, acrylic graphics, signage, large format print, hoarding, finishing, mounting and exhibition / retail / display / events / venue graphics.

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sales Executive to join their team.

Experience within the Large Format sector isn’t essential and we are open to speaking to candidates from a sales or technical background – full product training will be provided.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

The role of Print Finisher is to facilitate the day to day work within the busy production departments of Rocket. Working with the Production managers you will be able to use your experience to establish the best working practice to facilitate the requirements of each individual job bag

This role will require someone with at least 10 years of experience within the large format and digital print industry. The successful candidate must have strong production knowledge, and be able to operate I-cut machines, UV & Latex printers worked with cold/hot mount laminators.

Role Requirements:

– Operating Zund  digital cutters,

– Producing a variety of Graphics / Signage within a Production discipline

– CAD cut vinyl using illustrator plug is an advantage

– Fully familiar with laminating processes and procedure

– Working with the more common materials Vinyl, Di-bond, Foamex & Acrylic

– Experience operating large format printing machinery, would be useful (Vutek)

– Good experience with all aspects of finishing including mounting onto foamex, foam board, wrap edge sealing, constructing roller banner stands, pop-up display exhibitions, cardboard display stands

– Helping with The Q.C. of all work manufactured by Rocket. Ensuring that the up-most care and attention is always at the forefront of every project to ensure the client’s expectations are met.

– Always ensuring that you are working within the H&S framework of the business & understanding risks and where they will occur.

The main purpose of the role is to work with our night shift team and operate the industrial stitching machine to work with the various fabrics rocket produce. Working with the Production heads you will be able to use your experience to establish the best working practice to facilitate the requirements of each individual job bag.

This role will require someone with at least 5 years of experience working with stitching and finishing methods on an industrial level.

Role Requirements:

-Stitching and finishing a variety of fabric and PVC graphics within a Production discipline

– Experience in an industrial finishing capacity (stitch) is essential

– As this is a night shift position we are looking at someone that is a problem solver and is used to finding solutions independently

– Good experience in the large format digital print industry would be beneficial but not essential

– Helping with The Q.C. of all work manufactured by Rocket. Making sure the upmost care and attention is always at the forefront of every project to ensure the client’s expectations are met.

– Always ensure that you are working within the H&S framework of the business & understanding risks and where they will occur.

The main purpose of the role is to facilitate the Installation of work that rocket produce across all areas from events, exhibitions & retail to commercial work. We are looking for someone that will be able to use your experience to establish the best working practice to facilitate the requirements of each individual job

This role will require someone with at least 5 years of experience in the installation of graphics and signage from the large format and digital print industry. The successful candidate must have a strong production knowledge and have a proven record of working with all aspects of print and sign installation.

Role Requirements:

• Be responsible for the successful transportation and installation of a variety of signage and graphics 

• The role requires the candidate to review and ensure that all signage meets the required specifications for each project, prepare each sign for mounting, and manage the placement and installation of each sign as required.

• Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, knowledgeable about the many different sign types and possess a sound understanding of the applicable construction and installation techniques.

• Successfully loading and transporting all signage, tools, hardware, and materials to the site safely.

• Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure for new signage, and securing the electrical connections.

• Ensuring the effective measurement, placement, connection, and installation of all signage.

• Mounting and installing all signs in accordance with all safety protocols.

• Clearing debris and materials from the site after each installation.

• Clearing debris and materials from company vehicles and trailers after each installation.

• Performing maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed.

• Operating and maintaining the tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.

• Maintaining all necessary communication with the Installation Manager, Project Management Team and directors of the business daily. This includes properly taking completion photos and emailing them accordingly.

• Good knowledge of various types of signs & graphics

• A sound understanding of the applicable installation methods, materials, and safety measures.

• The ability to operate hand and power tools.

• Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labour including lifting, climbing, working at various heights.

• Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and overnights as needed.

• Operating UV printers as well as solvent printing
• Knowledge of Caldara rip station would be beneficial
